when I try to run/install the updates that HP support assistant tells me I need to install; it just says loading for a few seconds then it says installation canceled. I never paid much attention to this up until today that I tried powering off my Desk to and it read "there are currently no power options available." I tried holding down the power button since I was done using my computer for the day, but this only made my Desktop go to sleep. Does anyone know what I can do?
Also, I now that I have windows 10. That is all. Last night there was some sort of Windows 10 update that self-prompted itself and installed automatically. I ain't tech-savvy at all

Hi Manny,
To power off your computer hold the power button down for 4 seconds until it shuts down completely.
The No Power Options is a bit more complicated and unless you're comfortable with the registry editor and command prompt it's best left to somebody who can do it.
Perhaps somebody else here knows a simpler way to fix the issue.
