Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I have installed a new PC for my mother. She is now 77 years old and very anxious. And I have a phenomenon there of all places, which seems to occur only rarely but is not an isolated case.

 

When I start Thunderbird, the print queue closes and I can no longer print. If I then close Thunderbird, it starts again.

I have already found the following:

As I have already written in the forums, this batch is a workaround if the error occurs:

 

net stop spooler
net start spooler
net stop spooler
del C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS\*.shd
del C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS\*.spl
net start spooler

 

I can then print again without having to close the TB.

 

HP computers seem to be affected more often.

 

Do you have any hints for me?
