Sorry to hear that you are having problems ... I would like to help you.
(1) For beginners, I find these instructions very useful. You need an external <USB hard drive> or a <USB flash drive> with a large capacity.
Windows 11: How to Copy Files and Folders to USB Drive
If "old" pc is running Windows 10:
Windows 10: How to Copy Files and Folders to and from a External Hard Drive or USB Pen Drive
(2) On the destination computer, proceed in reverse order. The source is the external <USB hard disk> or <USB flashdrive> and the destination is the user profile with folders documents/pictures/videos etc. ....
