The System recognizes and supports the USB Keyboard, Mouse and Printer.
It will not recognize or support External USB Storage Devices like a Thumb Drive or Disk Drive.
When plugged in the System does nothing and they do not appear in Start, Computer.
PLEASE help if you will.
I would like to run a Full Backup and then an Easy File Transfer to an External Drive.

They will NOT appear in starting the computer because your newer PC has Secure Boot enabled in the BIOS/UEFI settings -- and that prevents it not only from booting from other devices, they also do not show up when booting.
You have to go into your BIOS/UEFI settings and disable that.
