Hello,

I accidentally uninstalled HP Support Assistant on my Laptop Windows 11.

It takes you through the steps for downloading and installing but it never completely installs it. It just says "Completing the installation" but never finishes. I have checked and it was completely uninstalled. I have tried several times deleting the install package and re-downloading it to get it to install and have had no luck. I depend on it heavily when checkin issues on my PC and printer and really need it back on my laptop.

I have a VPN on my laptop and wonder if that could keep it from installing?

Here's the message under details:

See the end of this message for details on invoking

just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************

To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this

application or computer (machine.config) must have the

jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.

The application must also be compiled with debugging

enabled.

For example:

<configuration>

    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />

</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception

will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer

rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Please advise.

Thanks
