Hello,
I have HPSA version 9.8.27.0 installed on my HP Z2 Mini G4 desktop. I also have several other HP laptops/notebooks running the same version of HPSA. The HPSA icon in the system tray continually displays the blue information icon indicating that I have a new message. When I go into HPSA and look at the messages for the Z2 Mini, it always shows the same three messages as unread. I tried reading these messages to drop the unread message count down to zero and I have tried deleting these messages. Regardless of which method I try to drop the unread count down to zero, the HPSA system tray icon always shows the blue information icon as if I have an unread message. I went into HPSA and read and deleted the three new messages for the Z2 Mini on all devices; however, they keep reappearing. It is as if they are lodged in the backend of HP's HPSA service.
I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling HPSA on the Z2 Mini. Is there anyway HP can access my HPSA account on their end and flush out these messages? Again, no matter how many times I try reading and deleting them, they keep randomly reappearing as the same three unread messages. There are also severl read messages that will not go away either. But they are not causing the blue information icon for the HPSA in the system tray.
Thanks in advance for the help!
Joe
