I get this issues when i connect any printer to my PC by using USB cable: " Unknown device under Universal serial bus controller in device manager" with a yellow triangle.
I performed these steps:-
1. Tried Updation via on line search but showing "the best driver is already installed".
2. Tried Updation via " Browse My Computer for driver software but showing Code:43 error"
3. Tried uninstalling but with every restart it automatically came back with a notification".
4. Windows updation could not could not resolve this issue.
I need to get rid of this nagging issue.

While "any printer" is meant to work with a PC via USB, for most at least some of the driver software needs to be installed before the printer is plugged into the USB port. If you give the printer make and model, the setup procedure can then be located for you.
I'm not an HP employee.

I installed two new printers in the last few months -- something I had not done in years -- and as @TheOldMan pointed out, you have to install the drivers and printer software BEFORE connecting the printer. The fact that the no printer shows in the Printers and Faxes windows shows that Windows does not see any printers.
