HP Pavilion 23-b026in All-in-One Desktop PC
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Dear All,

I have HP Pavilion 23-b026in All-in-One Desktop PC initially with Windows 8 operating systems, which is later on updated to Windows 8.1.  Further, as auto-update is on it is dated to latest windows version 10 with all updated series.

HP support there is no drivers available for supporting it as according to the site this product is not tested for the Windows 10 (I checked it list given on-site). Problem is 1. is it safe to run this system on Windows 10?

2. Recently brought, Sony Bluetooth speaker is not connecting so I was trying to reinstall the driver, but I did not get it and till I am not able to connect it. If it is safe to run the system on Windows 10, Can I get Bluetooth drivers?

Thanks in advance, waiting for guidance.

Hi:

The parts list for your PC indicates that it has the Ralink RT3290 wifi/Bluetooth adapter.

That card has major issues with W10 and normally neither the wifi nor the Bluetooth works.

So, you are lucky that the wifi still works.

The problem is that the card used to work with the first couple of releases of W10 but on the later updates of W10, the card doesn't work.

The issue being that the wifi and/or Bluetooth completely disappear from the device manager and there is no way to get it to come back.

So...if everything is working fine except for the Bluetooth, you can purchase an external USB Bluetooth adapter so the Bluetooth works again.

I use this model for example, which works just fine.
