Hello. I have HP all in one model 24-qa-157in, Intel i5 8400T, 8th generation. It has windows 10 home single edition. Is it possible to upgrade this PC to windows 11 ? If it is possible to upgrade then I would like to purchase a SSID drive. Would I need to purchase windows 11 after installing the SSID drive and discarding the old hard disk that is already installed inside ?
i am sorry. i by mistake typed the wrong model number initially. i have corrected the mistake now.

You should be able to upgrade the PC to W11 if it also has a TPM 2.0 security device listed under the Security devices category in the device manager.
If it does not, see if the BIOS has a setting to enable the TPM security device in the BIOS' security menu.
If there is a TPM 2.0 security device, or it shows up after you enable it, you can update to W11 by clicking on the blue Windows 11 Installation Assistant button at the link below (first option):
You do not need to buy W11 if you install a new drive because the Windows product key is encrypted in your PC's BIOS if your PC came with W10 from HP.
