Okay, I am not sure if I have landed on the right page, but I am trying to find out how to transfer photos and videoes from my OPPO A40 phone to my HP PC. Any advice or help would be good right now. Kind regards, David.

@2Paddy-Doran, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, You're in the right place—I'd be happy to help!
There are several easy ways to transfer photos and videos from your OPPO A40 phone to your HP All-in-One PC running Windows 11.
Here are the main options you can try:
Option 1: USB Cable Transfer (Most Reliable)
- Connect your OPPO A40 to your PC using the charging USB cable.
- On your phone, you may see a pop-up. Choose "File Transfer" or "Transfer Files (MTP)" mode.
- On your PC:
- Open File Explorer (Win + E).
- Look for your phone under "This PC" (it may show as "OPPO A40" or "Android device").
- Navigate to DCIM (for photos/videos) or other folders like Pictures, Downloads, etc.
- Copy and paste or drag and drop the files to your desired folder on the PC.
Option 2: Wireless via Google Photos (Cloud Sync)
If your phone backs up to Google Photos:
- Go to https://photos.google.com on your HP PC.
- Sign in with the same Google account used on your OPPO phone.
- You can download the photos/videos you want from there.
Option 3: Bluetooth (Slower, but Wireless)
- Turn on Bluetooth on both your OPPO and HP PC.
- On your PC:
- Go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Add device.
- Pair with your OPPO A40.
- On your OPPO:
- Go to Gallery or File Manager, select the files.
- Tap Share > Bluetooth, and choose your PC.
- Accept the file transfer on your PC.
Option 4: Using "Phone Link" App (Microsoft's Link to Windows)
This lets you access phone media directly from the PC.
- On your OPPO, go to Settings > Connection & Sharing > Link to Windows and follow the setup.
- On your PC, open the Phone Link app (built-in on Windows 11).
- Sign in with the same Microsoft account and pair both devices.
- Access photos/videos and even drag them to your desktop!
Option 5: Use a Cloud Drive (Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox)
- Upload photos/videos from your phone to a cloud service.
- On your HP PC, open the same service in a browser or app and download the files.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
