On start up I keep getting VC Runtime 140.dll error. Says to reinstall. How do I reinstall? Kind of a novice. Thank you in advance.

I understand that you are getting VC Runtine 140.dll error, I will be delighted to assist you here.
However, I will need a few details to provide an accurate solution,
- When did this issue start?
- Did you do any changes on the desktop?
Meanwhile, follow the below steps to fix this issue:
Open Windows Control Panel, open Programs and Features, right-click the entry for HP 3D DriveGuard and select Uninstall.
When this has completed, restart the notebook.
When windows have reloaded, download and install the version of HP 3D DriveGuard on the following link.
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp78001-78500/sp78033.exe
