Hello,

I need to transfer old VHS movies to DVD. Neither of my older DVD player/recorders were working so I bought a cheap analog to hdmi converter. 3 RCA in for A/V, 1 HDMI out. And I have Windows Live Movie Maker on my desktop. But there are no hdmi inputs on this system. Or on either of our laptops.

The VCR player has RCA jacks only. The TV has hdmi in......but not out. What can I use, buy, hook up to/in to this Phoenix desktop so I can take advantage of the movie making software and convert my VHS to DVD's??????

Probably 5 years back, I used the following device/adapter (mine is older, but same brand) to convert my VHS tapes to DVD

You can buy elsewhere for under 70 dollars
