Hello,

How can I enable Virtualization in Firmware?

I have HP 285 G2 MT, AMD A8 PRO-7600B R7

Hypervisor is present, but Virtualization Enabled in Firmware: No

I read that the Bios has option for some AMD model processors to enable SVM CPU Virtualization in the System Security . But in  I do not see such options in System Security in my BIOS.

Please, help me to enable Virtualization .

Thank you in advance!IMG_20220203_102802.jpgIMG_20220203_104444.jpgIMG_20220203_112727.jpg

It is unlikely you can enable that feature.  You may have already read through this thread about the same subject

Do you have the latest bios?

I am unsure of which of the above you should install so you should use your product ID to verify the correct download.  Also see what version you have and if it is the Business one or the MT one.

Just a guess:  Do you have Oracle's VirtualBox installed? If so, it is not compatible with hyper-v and may have taken exclusive control to where hyper-v cannot access the technology.  Just guess but I occasionally run VirtualBox and there was a warning about hyper-v
