What is the full model number or product number of your notebook?
You can find your PC's product number by clicking on the search icon on your Windows taskbar.
Type: System Information
The System information app should show up.
Run the app and the product number of your PC will be found on the System SKU line about 1/4 of the way down on the report.
Post the product number you see there.

You're very welcome.
That isn't the model number of your PC.
That is the generic product number of W10.
Do you want to install W11 on your PC, and it won't let you because it doesn't meet Microsoft's minimum hardware requirements.
If so, what model processor does it have?

If your PC is around 12 or less years old, you should be able to install W11 on it.
If you are happy with your PC, and if you are interested in installing W11 24H2 via an in-place upgrade on your PC as is, watch this video, which is the easiest way to do it in my opinion, and I have tried many different ways to do this during the last 3 years.
How to Install Windows 11 on Unsupported PC in 2025 (New Easiest Method, No CMD)
Download the W24H2 ISO file and use that (3rd option).
You can download the free 7-Zip file utility from the link below. The top line is for 64 bit.
You'll have to repeat this procedure each October when Microsoft rolls out the new builds because a PC that does not meet Microsoft's minimum W11 hardware requirements will never automatically get the update to the next build.
Other than that, your PC will continue to get the monthly cumulative and other updates.
That's only a minor inconvenience to have continued OS support beyond October of 2025.
If things don't work right on W11, you have 10 days to easily go back to W10 as long as you don't delete the W1 upgrade files or the Windows.old folder.

Hello Paul, I think that I will go just ahead and purchase a new computer that is compatible with my existing one if I can.
I actually had contacted HP for suggestions and asked the same question. I received an answer back the next day with a suitable replacement suggestion model. When I checked on the model, it was obvious to me that they were only interested in selling me some thing for more profit as the price was over $1800.00 plus tax with an offer to extend the warrantee
to 3 years for $375.00 plus tax I will assume!
Anyway, I sincerely do appreciate your help and time.

You're very welcome.
You may want to look into an off lease HP Business class PC such as an Elitedesk 800 G4 (make sure it has an Intel 8th gen core processor) and you can probably pick one up for around two - three hundred dollars.
The come in tower, small form factor or desktop mini sizes.
HP Elite 800 G4 Business Desktop Business PCs
The models with the Intel 8th gen core processors fully support W11.

You are correct.
It does not come with a DVD drive.
Most new PCs nowadays don't come with optical drives.
I use a USB DVDRW drive when I need to install a program from a DVD or CD.
