I went to the HP Support website to update the drivers on my HP Pavillion 590-p0056. You have to choose an operating system, but the only option to choose is Windows 10 (originally installed). I now have Windows 11 installed, cannot find out on the Website how to enter this as my operating system to check for HP updates rather than Windows 11 updates which I already checked on my computer.
Should I proceed on updating drivers using the HP Support Website by selecting Windows 10 as the operating system even though I have Windows 11 installed. Want to make sure I don't cause issues if I do this.

Hi @edge174
HP does not offer drivers for Windows 11 for your PC. If you have problems with your drivers, use those offered by Windows Update or those available for Windows 10.

Resistencia's solution was somewhat helpful, but it did not make sense to me as HP recommended I change my operating system from Windows 10 to Windows 11 for security update reasons, and I don't understand why they would not then offer Windows 11 updates.
I have updated my drivers offered by Windows update, but Windows says go to HP Support for most current drivers or the hardware/software manufacturer.
And if I use the HP Support Website which only offers Windows 10 as the operating system and I press continue, and I upload drivers, can it cause problems as I now have Windows 11 as my operating system?

I understand your frustration, but HP has a very wide range of computers, and the premium class models are the ones that receive the most support. The other models are only supported to a limited extent with the version of Windows with which they were sold.

Thank you for elaborating on why HP does not really want to help with driver updates and other issues on HP computers that are not premium class models and they do not have the original software.
Being an expert, can you directly to answer my previous question that I have nowexpanded:
If I use the HP Support Website for updating drivers which only offers Windows 10 as the operating system for my HP Pavillion Desktop 690-p0056, and I press continue and allow the download of the "HP Product Detection Application" that will probably show me possible updated drivers to upload based on the Windows 10 software I no longer have, can this action cause problems as I now have Windows 11 as my operating system?" Is there a downside to doing this or is it just a waste of time on my part to try and do this?
I don't have any apparent issues, but the CC Cleaner application has identified numerous driver updates they can fix if I am willing to pay them additional funds to upgrade their application. Yet using my Windows 11 software says I have the most current applications from my Windows 11 software which is the most current version.

There's no problem using the update applications offered by HP. If you only have Windows 10 drivers, they will never offer drivers for Windows 11.
Personally, I don't recommend using those programs that search for drivers. I would go directly to the manufacturer's website and download the drivers from there. For example, AMD or NVIDIA for drivers.
