Product: Envy 795 desktop
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Tried hdmi to hdmi, monitor (HP 24") says no signal.  No regular  vga ports on envy.  Please advise , thanks.

Welcome to the forum.

I am not a HP employee.

 

Which specific 795 do you have (don't provide a serial number) and is it a new PC?

 

You may be connecting to onboard video instead of a possible add-in video card.

 

Onboard video is disabled when you have a discrete graphics card installed in the motherboard.

I did not include this thought in first response:

 

Is the HDMI cable good and is the monitor good?  Two other possible failure points to be looked at when troubleshooting.
