What is the best way to copy applications and data from my old PC to my new PC?

Hello
There is no better way, you have to find the one that suits you best
There is software, this is just an example, I have not tested

https://www.easeus.com/pc-transfer/copy-installed-software.html

https://www.maketecheasier.com/transfer-programs-from-one-pc-to-another/

Now for me, if you have a new computer, it is better to sort and directly install the programs you need, especially if your old computer was under another version of windows
For data rather than getting bored every time prefer an external drive, so you can use it anywhere on different computers

@DZ53

The EaseUS product that @Prométhée recommended is your best choice.  I have used both it and Laplink PC Mover to do this and the EaseUS product is easier to use and works better.

Understand that you won't be able to move all the apps, some simply will not work.  So, you'll most certainly end up reinstalling some of them. There is no way around that.
