I have a HP All-in-One 22-dd0224 computer that currently has 2 slots, 1 slot with 4GB RAM with 3.75 available and 1 more slot is empty. I’d like to install 16GB RAM in the available slot, but I want to be sure that my computer can support it. What is the max RAM my computer can handle?
When I use this command “ wmic memphysical get maxcapacityEx“ it tells me that the max is 32GB.
Speed 2400 MHz - DDR4

The product specs indicate the max memory is 2 x 8 GB.

The Crucial memory report indicates you can install as much as 2 x 32 GB of memory in your PC.

Then there are the Intel processor specs which indicate the processor can only support 8 GB of memory.

Under the circumstances, I don't know what to say...either go with what HP indicates (2 x 8 GB) or what the Windows report indicates (2 x 16 GB).
