Hi ive purchased a hp pavilion all in one desktop pc theres a slot underneath thst looks like a sd card slot but cards wont fit any ideas

There are many different configurations HP Pavilion AIO desktops.  In older to get exact information on the specific  model, go to this page

https://support.hp.com/us-en

Scroll down until you can see the "Let HP detect your product" and then click on that.  Once it completes the process it will take you to the support page for that product.  You should be then able to either search for a User guide to identify what that slot might be OR you can post the model number found with that search and I can investigate for you.
