HP All in One Desktop
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Just purchased HP 24 All In One Desktop computer and am planning to download Microsoft Office as well as all data from my old computer hard drive.. This is my first time doing this. Which should I do first???

It doesn't matter which one goes first. I would setup machine first before adding new software.

Regards.

@Ralph_H1 -- I would

  1. run Windows Update, repeatedly, until my computer is up-to-date;
  2. if the computer has a "spinning" disk-drive, not a SSD, run the Disk Defragmenter;
  3. download/install the usual "free" software, e.g., Adobe Reader and Apple iTunes;
  4. download/install/activate Microsoft Office;
  5. run Windows Update again, to get all the updates for Office. Maybe, not necessary, if you are downloading Office 365;
  6. reload my personal files.

That's my method. YMMV
