Hi @Sankaranarayana,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

We understand how easy it is to click through setup screens quickly, especially when you're excited to start using your new HP laptop! Don't worry, you're not alone, and we're here to guide you through this with care.

1. Check HP Account Online:

  • Visit HP Customer Support – My Devices.
  • Sign in with the account you used (or created) during setup.
  • You can manage or remove registered devices here.
  • If you accidentally registered under the wrong information, you can edit the device details or remove the device and register again.

2. Adjust Settings in HP Support Assistant (If Installed):

  • Open HP Support Assistant.
  • Go to SettingsChange Product Registration Details.
  • Some settings related to product information sharing and updates can be managed here.

3. HP Privacy Settings:

  • If you accepted extra options about marketing or sharing information, you can update your privacy preferences:
    • Go to HP Privacy Preferences and manage your consent settings.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
