Microsoft Windows 11

I have a new laptop HP PC 17-cp0000 which runs on Windows 11 operating system and am having problems renaming folders in File Explorer.   My documents file is located inside a folder (a "User" folder I believe) and I wanted to rename the folder as it is not instantly recognisable to me but when I highlight it, the button at the top to Rename it is greyed out.    How can I change this or is it a folder that cannot be renamed?

At what stage do I use the F2 button ?   Will it harm my system as I read that if you change some folder names that you shouldn't change  it can cause instability in the computer system?
