HP Pavilion 590-p0571ng

Hello community.

Since I upgraded my HP Pavilion 590-p0571ng from Windows 10 to 11 I experience stuttering when playing games. FPS is ok but it freezes constantly for a millisecond. Also projecting the screen to a smart TV has the same issue. In fact its even worse.. not possibly to use anymore.

As far as I could understand there are some issues with AMD and Windows 11 regarding fTPM that should be fixed with a BIOS update.

However if I look for drivers on HP support there is no support for Windows 11.

Somebody has similar issues and knows a workaround?

Will HP offer updates for "older" (I guess, the model is from 2018/19)  Desktop PC for Windows 11?

Thanks for your help!

HI

it's not for lack of having tried many times here, to warn users, that it does not work so well for everyone...
Anyway
I would advise you more to go back to windows 10 ..
but see if you have the latest bios update, ( be careful, because it can also go wrong )

Hi:

Have you tried the AMD Radeon RX 580 W11 driver from AMD?

If not, install the W11 Adrenalin 22.5.1 Recommended (WHQL) driver under the W11 driver section.

You may also want to install the W11 chipset driver as well--the 54 MB file under the W11 driver section.

Hello, thank you for your reply.

I have installed both drivers, but unfortunately the problem persists.

For games, it doesn't matter if the game is old or new. Even if I leave everything on lowest settings, nothing changes.

The same game, the same settings that ran fine on Windows 10, now stutters.

I recorded a video to show the stuttering.

You're very welcome.

Sorry, that installing the W11 AMD drivers didn't resolve the problem.

I see what you mean regarding the choppy video.  Very odd.

Unfortunately, I don't have any other ideas for you to try.

You may want to go back to W10 until the bugs are worked out in W11.

Thanks. Yes, I was aware that there are issues with AMD and Windows 11 but I thought after over one year the mayor bugs should be fixed by now...

I check the bios version and I have the latest update installed.

I will go back to windows 10.
