Hi where can i find my windows key? I need to change the motherboard and im almost sure that windows will think its another pc.

Hi:

 

The Windows product key is encrypted in your PC's BIOS and is tied to the motherboard you currently have installed.

 

If you change the motherboard, the product key that Windows is using to stay activated will not work on the new one.

 

Make sure you buy a replacement motherboard that comes with a Windows product key in the BIOS.
