Hi, I have just updated my Z800 to W11 by the back door route described by Paul Tikkanen a few months ago (using the /server route).
it all seemed to work fine but for one thing - it says that a Driver Cannot Load on This Device. It’s HWiNFOSYS64.SYS
it throws a compatibility error each time I start windows now. I’ve not done much yet but windows seems to be working ok once I close it down.
is this driver that crucial? And if so how do I resolve it?
thanks for any advice

Hi:
As far as I am aware, that is a file generated by the free HWINFO utility that provides useful information about your PC.
It comes in two formats. A portable version that you run each time you want to check info about your PC, or a version you install like any other program.
Check your Windows control panel>programs and see if the the HWINFO program is installed and if so, you can uninstall it.
I use the portable version which only runs if I click on it.
