@spidey2025, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

Make sure the space is unallocated: After deleting the Linux partition, ensure that the space is marked as unallocated. You can do this using the Disk Management tool in Windows.

Check the Partition Layout

  • Right-click on the Start menu > Select Disk Management.
  • Look at the graphical view of your drive at the bottom. If there is unallocated space but not directly next to C:, Windows won’t let you extend it.

Delete Extra Partitions

  • If you see partitions labeled something like "EFI", "Recovery", "GRUB", or "Unknown", Linux might have left them behind.
  • Right-click those partitions (not your C: drive) and choose Delete Volume to turn them into unallocated space.

Use Disk Management to Extend C: Drive

  • Right-click on C: Drive > Choose Extend Volume > Follow the wizard to add the unallocated space.

If Extend Volume is Still Greyed Out then this happens if unallocated space is not immediately next to C.  Move partitions and merge the unallocated space into C

I hope these steps help resolve the issue
