hp support site did not have my current OS version showed there were security bulletins/alerts but after selecting link went to hp general support site.

I am not sure what you are asking for.

 

Your desktop could have two different BIOS.

One for ROM ID 8643

and another for

ROM ID 86E9

 

It is also possible your system has a different ROM ID and if so, there is no BIOS update released for it yet.

 

The ROM ID can be seen by running the HP support assistant, clicking on Device specifications, and scrolling down to "System Board"
