Hello, My computer is not letting me log in with my pin. I know the pin is correct but it always says the pin has been disabled because it has been introduced many times. I am logging in with the finger scan and if I go to delete the pin, it does not activate that option

Hi @MPOV,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding PIN issues in Windows 11!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Try these steps:
Use Safe Mode:
- Restart your computer.
- Before Windows boots, repeatedly press the F8 key (or Shift + F8) to enter Safe Mode.
- From Safe Mode, go to Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options and try to reset or remove the PIN.
Alternative Login Options:
- Since you're able to log in with the fingerprint scanner, use that method to access your account.
- Once logged in, disable the PIN option temporarily:
- Navigate to Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options.
- Under PIN (Windows Hello), click Remove or change the PIN.
Reset the PIN Through Windows Settings:
- Go to Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options.
- Find the PIN section and attempt to add a new PIN. It might require you to verify with your password or fingerprint.
Microsoft Account:
- If your account is linked to a Microsoft account, go to the Microsoft account management online to change or reset your PIN.
System Maintenance:
- Ensure that your Windows 11 is updated to the latest version, as updates sometimes resolve login-related bugs.
- Perform a system check using Windows Security to ensure there are no system integrity issues.
I hope this helps.
