Does the disk work in another PC, DVD or Blue-Ray player,  or xbox?

What type of laptop?    Is the ODD device slot or tray?

Can you tell if the disk is spinning?

Any error messages?  Does the volume name show up when looking at "This PC" using the file manager?

Device manage show any unknown devices?

Does windows event viewer show CD ROM errors in the "system"

Original disks that came with the PC work?
