The PC had been running Win 10 and had a problem. My repair guy said it was not uncommon for WIN 10 and restored it by installing WIN 7. Everything was fine until I installed MS Office 16 and noit will not allow any print jobs from MS Office through. I can put the print job on a thumb drive ant go to another PC that is wirelessly hooked up to the same printer and it will print. I have run HP's Print and Scan Doctor and it prints out the test page okay. I have tried to fix it by editing the windows firewall but it has the selection boxes grayed out.

You failed to even mention the model of the PC, saying only "custom build", so we have no way of confirming whether or not this PC should be running Win10 or Win7.
Also, you said you had someone else install Win7 on this PC -- so you need to check with them to have them fix what they did wrong.

The AVG Internet Security firewall had not installed completely. Once AVG fixed it I was able to install a port that allowed allowed all print jobs to go thru. The Desktop was assembeled be me using ASUSTek Board A88X-PRO with 3.4 gb AMD A10-7700K Radeon R7, 10ComputeCores 4C+6G 256 KB PRIMARY MEMORY CACHE, 4096KB SECONDARY MEMORY CACHE,64 BIT, 2 CORE, Hyper-threaded (4 total) and 32 mb RAM AND DRIVE CAPACITY 15242.62 useable HD capacity. Knowing I had Sufficient capacity I thought "custom" should be sufficient. Of course you had no way of knowing That I am a retired IT Specialist or that this was the second of my 3 computer builds. Also like me you probably are not aware of the inclusion of an AVG Firewall. I had assumed it was an MS firewall but the change buttons were grayed out. When I ran the MS troubleshooter it said this problem could be caused by the AVG firewall. Thank you for your time,
