Hi @JOHNNY197,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

A framework error on your HP Laptop PC 15 could indicate an issue with missing or improperly installed software dependencies, like the .NET Framework or system drivers. Here's how you can resolve it.

Install or Update .NET Framework

  • Press Windows + R, type appwiz.cpl, and hit Enter.
  • On the left, click Turn Windows features on or off.
  • Ensure .NET Framework 3.5 (includes .NET 2.0 and 3.0) and .NET Framework 4.8 are checked.
  • If they aren’t checked, enable them and let Windows download the necessary files.

Alternatively:

  • Download the latest .NET Framework from the official Microsoft site (Download here).

Run Windows Update

  • Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.
  • Click Check for updates to install the latest fixes and framework updates.

Install Missing Drivers

  • Open the HP Support Assistant (pre-installed on your laptop) or download it from here.
  • Scan for updates and install all recommended drivers.

Perform a System File Check

  • Open Command Prompt as Administrator.
  • Run the command:

sfc /scannow

  • Wait for the process to complete and repair any corrupted system files.

Reinstall HP Software Framework

  • Visit the HP Drivers and Software page for your specific laptop model.
  • Look for HP System Event Utility or HP Software Framework.
  • Download and reinstall these utilities.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
