I am getting SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION error in Windows 10  How can I trouble shoot?

Welcome back to the forum.

I am not a HP employee.

 

You probably have a bad hardware driver or bad hardware.

 

Do you see any additional information listed with the error to assist; possibly a driver or hardware reference?

 

Your PC is close to 10 years old.

 

Check this site (Link) and additional links at the site for additional troubleshooting information. This site is aimed at programmers. This (Link) is for users.

 

Look in the "remarks" section at the first link for general troubleshooting tips.  

 

Try booting in Safe Mode which is recommended in the second link. An error code using safe mode may suggest a hardware problem.
