Welcome to the HP Community --
Whatever is happening, it is not not related to your brand of computer (likely HP) and perhaps not even related to the Operating System (Windows).
Browsers do things about the same way from one time to the next --
What's different each time includes the connection and whether or not the cookies (stored bits of information about the site) have changed, are possibly corrupted, or are being refused for some reason.
Browser security is its own animal, too.
Regardless of having done something before, if the browser security detects something it cannot handle or breaks one or more rules, the browser might balk, refuse to connect, disconnect, or display a useful or completely useless error message.
Suggestions
Clear your browser cookies and cache.
Restart your computer.
Try a different browser.
Contact the vendor -- perhaps you have run into a bug of some kind.
