Hi:

That is interesting.

That model series is less than 10 years old and should not be retired but I checked every 15-dw1xxx support page I could find and got no drivers.

Below are the info and exe file links to the latest BIOS update I could find for the 15-dw1xxx model series (F.21):

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp132501-133000/sp132835.html

Watch these videos for how to create and use a BIOS recovery flash drive with the above exe file using another Windows PC if yours is not working.

thanks so much just one more thing when I start it  it extracts and the executable called 864B starts but after 1 second it crashes do you know why??

You're very welcome.

Unfortunately, I don't know what that error is, but something tells me that the 864B may be for a different motherboard SSID.

Your PC's system board ID is 85F2, so that file is probably not be the right one.

I did find another file but when I looked inside the exe file using the free 7-Zip file utility I don't see your PC's system board listed, so I don't think this one will work either, but you can give it a try.

It has 0899F, 0881D, 085F1, 085F3, 085EF, and 085F5
