Hi,
Do you know which software do you use on your old computer ? On new computer, you can use Wordpad but this software is not function rich. I don't know what is the Operating System of your new machine, I believe it uses Windows 10. To open Wordpad, please
(a) Click Search (round icon, the second one on the bottom left corner),
(b) Type Wordpad,
(c) Right click it and select Pin to Taskbar
You now can use its icon on TaskBar to open it.
As a writer, I think you may want to use a proper Word processing such as Microsoft Word but you have to pay for it. Other options:
1. Free Microsoft Office 2010 Starter (people say it still works under Windows 10)
