Depending on the model number and type of drive, there is usually a small button on the face of the drive to open the tray.

What is the model number?

In looking up the PC listed under that info, it took me to this spec page.

https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-slim-desktop-pc-s01-af0000i/29022932/model/37757609/document...

It states "Optical drive not included". So perhaps that is why you cannot open the CD drawer as it is a blank.
