How do I update my bios on my  hp h8-1020  serial [personal info removed] current bios is AMI 7.0.3 3/29/2011 version 2.6 That has to be old and the reason I am having trouble updating to a newer graphics card.

Hi:

Your PC can only be updated to BIOS v7.16 which was only written to be run on Windows 7.

If you are trying to install anything newer than a nVidia GT(X)6xx, it won't work.

Newer graphics cards require the PC to have BIOS v8.1x or newer in order to work.
