Hi @RJP04
It is the driver that activates HP services, for example when using HP Support assitant,
you can find it in the Device Manager in the Software Component drivers
HP Application Driver Component
- if I can help solve your question or issue, please click on ACCEPT AS SOLUTION or click the YES button if my answer was helpful.

Driver update. Some updates are not worth the effort. I’m seeing the HP Inc - SoftwareComponent 1.74.4065.0 also in the “Optional updates” category for this particular problem. May I suggest not always a problem for your furniture. My “Developer Access” is on. I recently purchased my first IPhone 16 - always with Android Cellphones until the last month or so. I have a Fender Mustang Amplifier constantly running as my “output speaker” from line out/wifi/bluetooth connection depending upon what I’m looking at HP and my software, and the fact it has a “modern guitar players brains.
In my opinion the driver may have been suggested to HP for some reason, but in the past I had complications with my furniture around playing music on Groove and the sound transfer to Fender. I reinstalled Win11 and I will not regret this decision to keep the current drivers, as being the main reason for my “Fresh Start” because I have no problem. The online gaming community may like the driver and cause no issues with their furniture and could easily fix problems, but it would upset me to trust a driver upgrade after the previous design fail to my computer or furniture. The driver could be a IPhone 16 fix, but I am still learning to text, talk and use my phone to be my only contact with the web or internet. My android was not even remotely compatible with a smartphone so I chose to go through the IPhone and Zeiss Lens. The Win11 is obviously not a problem for my wifi, Bluetooth or DHCP, and Fender is Fender so “try harder” or something similar for the computer funnies that have a hub running through a SIM and the “household budget” I own/proudly. The 74.4065 looks fairly familiar because I am fancy remembering my own experiences of chords and numbers that are usually random to most.
