I have an hp simple save sd500a I don't know the last time I used it several years ago

I don't know whats on the drive

will it work on windows 11 to find out?

I think the problem you are going to have is drivers that work in Win11.  I did a search of HP forums on this device and the newest post I found mentioning drivers was from 2014 -- and that was even  before Window 10 came out.  So, it is very unlikely that there are Win11 drivers for it. You could hook it up, but it probably will not work.
