Hi Alex511,

You're very welcome.

Good to see this worked.

Hello. I have HP Pavilion 15-cc014ur

I ordered the one without the M.2 SSD and just the standard hard drive, in researching I have found mixed answers and I don't want to order the wrong item.
I would now like to purchase one to install, however, I am unsure of which one to get. SATA-III or NVMe?
Also, is there anything special I need to do to the BIOS to get it running?
Thank you very much in advance!

Hi Kostyanoy,

HP does not provide a MB image at your PC's support site (Link).

I don't know if you have a M.2 socket on the motherboard. If you have an M.2 socket it probably supports PCIe NVME.

Try posting this question in the Notebook Hardware board (Link).

Hi Kostyanoy,

Thanks for the image.

It looks like you have a 2280 M.2 socket in the bottom right corner near the battery.

The M.2 socket is keyed on the right side so I would say it supports PCIe NVME protocol.
