I am on a Realtek RTL8821CE and im trying to get into the bios menu to turn on VT or something (im going off a youtube video) and everytime i try to go into the bios my laptop starts beeping and goes to a fully blank screen with a login screen thing saying enter adminstrator password, another thing when i got off that page my just turning my laptop off my whole desktop changed and the taskbar is now at the left of my screen instead of the bottom im not very good at tech with laptops so any help would be appreciated

Welcome to the HP support community.

Thanks for explaining everything. You're doing great, BIOS Admin Password Prompt:

  • The screen asking for an administrator password before entering BIOS means your laptop has a BIOS/UEFI password set.

HP cannot reset the password. Only if you remember the password, you can try; if not, the pc has to be sent to get repaired, and the warranty will not cover this, it will be on a fee-based support.
 

Please help us with your HP unit serial number or the product number in a private message for further assistance.
