Not the .exe you wanted but here is Microsoft's Doc page in reference to creating a USB boot drive:

I was under the impression that all you wanted was a bootable flash drive as I've never seen or have heard of the makebootabledmi.exe. However, if one searches the HP ftp server, there is a list of zip files which could contact the execrable you're searching for. The main thing you need would be the DMI Utility

Also searching the forum, other support expects have offered support for the same type of issue. Search the forums for their posted suggestions. S I'm limited in how and where I can search at the moment.
