memory

hp prodesk 400g4
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

4g memory in it now. 250g HDD. this thing needs more muscle! How much ram can it take? Changing the HDD however is a foregone conclusion.

According to the HP specs, your model can handle up to 32GB --  two 16GB sticks.

 

Also, for "more muscle", I would seriously look into replacing the HDD with a SATA SSD -- you will notice a dramatic increase in overall performance if you do that.
