Hi @Kodela

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

That “multiple camera devices found” message usually pops up when virtual camera drivers (like OMEN Cam & Voice or OBS Virtual Cam) are installed alongside your physical webcam. It can confuse apps like Zoom or Teams during video calls.

Let’s clean things up:

How to Remove Extra Camera Devices on Your HP Laptop

1. Uninstall Extra Camera Drivers

  • Press Windows + X → select Device Manager.
  • Expand Imaging Devices or Cameras.
  • Right-click on any non-essential camera (e.g., OMEN Cam & Voice, OBS Virtual Cam) → choose Uninstall device.
  • Confirm and restart your laptop.

2. Remove Related Software

  • Go to Settings → Apps → Installed Apps.
  • Look for apps like OMEN Gaming Hub, OBS Studio, or any virtual camera software.
  • Uninstall them if you don’t use their camera features.

🧠 One user resolved this by uninstalling OMEN Gaming Hub, which had installed a virtual camera driver that interfered with interviews.

3. Check for Hidden Devices

  • In Device Manager, click View → Show hidden devices.
  • Repeat the uninstall process for any ghosted or inactive camera drivers.

4. Reset Camera Permissions

  • Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Camera.
  • Make sure only the apps you want have access to the camera.

If you’re unsure which camera is the real one, let me know your laptop model—I’ll help you identify the correct driver.

You’re doing great narrowing this down. Let’s make sure your next video call goes off without a hitch.
