my lap camera not working, i contact support of Microsoft and they advise me contacting you

Typical Microsoft...useless support (as are most OEM)

Check if the camera is recognized in the device manager.  If it is, then most likely the privacy slider is covering the lens.

Usually there are diagonal line on the camera lens to warn you that one must slide the cover, usually to the right.

If it doesn't appear in the device manager, check 'unknown device'

A simpler and quicker solution it to get a better external webcam for $30.  I much prefer external cameras as one can adjust the angle and not force the other end of the video call to stare at your ceiling
