From the little info I could find, this is likely a 12-year old PC -- and no software "update" is going to speed it up.

In a PC  this old, the slow running is likely due to two reasons. First, an old SLOW hard drive, second. lots of clutter in Windows that is slowing down the loading, and in some cases. third, lack of sufficient memory.

The first is best addressed by replacing the old, slow hard drive with an SSD.  You will get an enormous improvement in performance and speed from that. But this is not a simple process and you need to have a PC repair facility do this for you.

The second can be addressed by running a Windows utility to clean out crud from past updates.  Read up on Cleanmgr for windows to find out how to do this.

The third is really only the case when you have very little memory in a PC -- like 4GB or so.  Most PCs of recent years have at least 8GB of memory.  But like the SSD, this is a hardware replacement option best done by professionals but unlike the SSD, is not likely to result in any noticeable speed improvement.
