I recently bought a new HP Desktop. It has myHP installed, but on opening, all I get is the image below. What is myHP for?

Personalized Experience:

  • It offers a personalized dashboard where you can quickly assess the status of your device, check for updates, and manage device settings.

Support and Troubleshooting:

  • myHP includes tools to help troubleshoot and resolve common issues. It can guide you through setting up and using your HP device, and provides easy access to customer support resources.

HP Account:

  • It enables you to manage your HP account, warranties, and register your products for a more tailored customer support experience.

If you are encountering issues with opening or using the myHP application, try the following steps:

  • Make sure your system is updated with the latest Windows and driver updates.

I've tried this several times and it still doesn't work. I also cannot log in to the HP Support Assistant. I'm beginning to regret buying a new HP desktop.

Thank you for getting back to us @MrMcBadger, were you able to install all the Windows updates on the computer?

If so, and the issue persists, recommend you uninstall HP Support Assistant, restart your computer and install it back from the below link. 

https://support.hp.com/us-en/help/hp-support-assistant

This should help you sign in into HP Support Assistant.
