older desktop --- not in the HP database for update

This is an older  desktop and  not   hot found by  serial  number ----  How I can I find any update for it?

Hi:

Your PC was never supported by HP for W10 since it was manufactured prior to August of 2013.

HP products tested with Windows 10 | HP® Customer Support

You can't find any info on your PC on the HP support site because it has been retired in accordance with HP's policy of retiring support for products that have exceeded 10 years of age.

The only place you can find drivers for your PC would be this reputable 3rd party website and they will only have drivers up to Windows 8, since that was the latest operating system your PC was supported for.

thanks for the info --- I was looking to see if there was a BIOS  update   for the desktop ---

You're very welcome. 

That site does have a BIOS update file--7.15.

That was the last BIOS update HP released for your PC. 

Since the update wasn't written to be run on W10, it would be risky on your part to try and run the update on an unsupported operating system.
