HP Pavilion Desktop PC TP01-2000i (1K4B7AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

I have an HP Pavilion TP01-2000i, Product number: 318A0AA#ABA, and I am wanting to see if it is possible to overclock the processors. I just upgraded the memory from 8gb to 32gb, and I am just wanting to optimize my computer as best I can. Thing is, when I do get into the BIOS menu, there isn't an advanced tab to click on. So for now I am kinda stumped.

thanks for any help you might have to offer.

Mitch

@TheSecond -- is this your computer: HP Pavilion Desktop TP01-2000d PC Product Specifications | HP® Customer Support

or a "very-close-cousin" ?

I see:  Processor

Intel® Core™ i7-11700F (2.5 GHz base frequency, up to 4.9 GHz with Intel® Turbo Boost Technology, 16 MB L3 cache, 8 cores)

That is a very-fast processor, with 8 cores (to handle 8 simultaneous tasks)

So, I strongly advise that you FORGET about trying to "over-clock", since Turbo Boost already does something very similar, automatically.

hi

sorry but it s this one

Processor
Intel® Core™ i5-11400 (2.6 GHz base frequency, up to 4.4 GHz Max Turbo Frequency, 12 MB L3 cache, 6 cores)

at any rate @TheSecond

you don't have an option because you don't have a motherboard, and an unlocked processor
You can't do this
You may be able to use workarounds, but too risky
Either you leave it as it is, or then you will have to upgrade the processor for a higher performance

Processor upgrade information

  • TDP: up to 65 W
  • Socket type: LGA1200
  • Motherboard supports the following processor upgrades:
