1. Check for Updates:
- Ensure your operating system is up-to-date with the latest patches and updates.
- Use Windows Update to install necessary updates:
- Click on the Start Menu.
- Select Settings.
- Click on Update & Security and then Windows Update.
- Click Check for updates and ensure all updates are installed.
2. Update Drivers:
- Outdated or incorrect drivers can cause system instability.
- You can update drivers through HP Support Assistant:
- Open HP Support Assistant (found under All Apps in the Start Menu).
- Click Check for updates on the support page.
3. Reduce Startup Programs:
- Excessive startup programs can slow down your PC.
- Disable unnecessary startup programs via Task Manager:
- Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager.
- Go to the Startup tab.
- Right-click on unnecessary programs and select Disable.
4. Run a Virus Scan:
